Nagphani (Duke's Nose) appears almost inaccessible, but it is a surprisingly simple trek to reach the summit from the southern approach. The trekker is rewarded with amazing views of the Mumbai-Pune road and rail corridors, as well as great views of Khandala and the surrounding Sahyadri peaks. Duke's Nose is a convenient day trip from Pune and the trekking route starts also very conveniently near the Khandala railway station.

Introduction:
Fifteen year ago, we few young adventure lovers from east of Pune city (Rural area at that time) got together and started trekking with nearly no knowledge of this playing field. Due to the strong lured towards the Shayadri’s & thrilling history of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. We came closure with few trekking clubs & friends in the heart of Pune city from were, we were guide to this adventure world. Pursuing this hobby of adventure change our personality. It toughens our body and soul. But we observed that towards east of Pune, there is hardly anyone to guide the new or inexperienced adventure aficionados (Devotees, enthusiastics, fans, addicts and admirers) or have a platform for such activities. Thus we decided to form MAHA ADVENTURE CLUB,
a group working to promote the spirit of adventure along with creating awareness about preservation of environment and the rich cultural and historical heritage of Maharashtra.
Aim
Introduce – Explore – Conserve
Maha Adventure Club is totally non-profit voluntary association with aim of introducing
& exploring young people to adventure activities such as trekking, mountaineering, Jungle safari’s & paragliding etc.
It is of utmost concern that the ecology of the environs is maintained, so choose a programmer/people who lay emphasis on this. "Leave nothing but footprints, shoot nothing but photographs, kill nothing but time, and bring back nothing but memories" with an eco-friendly motto.
Introduce Outdoor Education Programme in schools as part of their regular curriculum,
as adventure is just another way of bonding diversity into one united family.
This would be the first non-profit volunteer organization in the country which would establish its search and rescue team to help people and govt agencies in disaster situation.
